Sally Murphy-Noel, founder
Raven's Wing Yoga was birthed in June of 2004 as a place of wholistic intention and dedication to Yoga or Union. Steeped in the lessons my Native Grandmother taught me, Wisdom is to be shared and is intended to evolve and grow with time. Raven's Wing is an integration of gathering place, deep yoga practice, seasonal & environmental awareness, health, and a safe space to be who you are with allowence to grow. Forever a yoga student, I began my studies in 1992 and began teaching in 1998. Kripalu yoga is where my soul of teaching originates from, with experience & training in Svaroopa & Ashtanga styles as well. Teachers that have gifted me with their wisdom include: Yoganand Micheal Carol, Indukanta Udasin, Richard Freeman, Rama Birch, Sarasvati Burhman, Patricia Hansen, and Hansa Knox. My practice stems from cultivating quiet within and allowing opening to emmerge from that quiet. Music is quite integral in my classes, creating space to flow with one' own unique body wisdom and need. My teachings include both gentle opening yoga to a more firey vinyasa, as both serve to create energy, awakening and healing within body, mind and breath.

Stephanie D'Aniello
Steph has an extensive background in Modern Dance. After 19 years of study, injury curtailed her practice. Although living with chronic pain, she did not see surgery as an option. At the suggestion of a dear friend, she found alleviation and peace through a yoga practice.
Recently, Steph has become a certified yoga instructor through Lotus Gardens, LLC. She is continually and gratefully influenced by Sally Noel, Rodney Yee, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Lara Ward, Shiva Rea, Linda Winnick, The teachings of Pantanjali, and her family.
Steph is eager to share in the journey of yoga as well as its healing abilities. She will guide you through a compassionate, slow flowing practice of asana and meditation. Through her own yoga experience, she believes that through movement and breath, you have the tools to heal and be truly awakened both physically and spiritually.
Erika Golia
Erika's first exposure to yoga came early on in high school as a soccer player. Her love of yoga only grew from there as did her knowledge of the human body. She attended the CT School of Massage Therapy in 2004 and later found her way to study yoga at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica with Don and Amba Stapleton. She recieved her 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification in Interdisciplinary Yoga. Don and Amba's teaching helped create a strong base for creative evolution within her own practice. Having such a diverse foundation allows Erika to mold each classroom experience into a new yoga adventure, applying her knowledge in anatomy, kinesiology, vinyasa, and deep relaxation. She is currently continuing her education at Southern CT State University. Here she is working towards her MA in School Counseling. Her love for children has also been carried onto the mat by her certification at Karma Kids Yoga, where she learned the art of teaching children's yoga from preschool to high school. Erika is currently looking forward to her next training at Kripalu,
where she'll be studying with Paul Grilley this summer. She'll be
partaking in two workshops, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Anatomy. A student of
life, Erika believes life is learning. Come join her on the mat to
explore what lies within.

Helena is a Cetified Instructor of Kripalu DansKinetics, Creative Movement, and a Nurse Practitioner. Her passion for dance and music dates back to childhood when furniture was frequently moved aside to make room for dance performances. Today, of particular interest to her, is how energy held in the body and mind can be released through dance, music and yoga. It is her hope that this experience with movement can be as freeing for you as it is for her.
