Many of our classes are open for all levels, keep in mind some classes like Seasonal, Soul yoga and Vinyasa require more strength and stamina.  New yoga students would benefit by taking Gentle/Bliss/ or Open Hatha Mellow to become familiar with the basics.

Gentle Yoga:

A yoga class to de-stress, center & breathe deep.  Supportive poses combined with basic posture sequencing helps to open, strengthen & re-align body & mind.    Ideal for beginning students, those healing injury, or those wanting to deepen their practice of release.

Gentle/Restorative:

Same pace as gentle class but with more practice of supportive/restorative postures.  Restorative yoga uses various blankets and props to support the body in a specific yoga pose allowing for deep relaxtion and release.  Good for all levels including beginners.

Bliss Yoga

Taught in the Svaroopa style of yoga.  A highly relaxing & meditative practice using precise alignments & blankets to support the body so it can deeply release tensions along the spine. Deeper than restorative yoga, you are left with a feeling of bliss! www.masteryoga.org

Ideal for those healing injury or those with back pain. All levels.  

Open Hatha Mellow:

A generous class, spending time unlocking hips, shoulders & spine.  Holding poses for deeper sensation and energy helps students learn and explore a variety of poses and their variations.  all levels/beginners welcome.

Open Yoga:

A moderate class with a fine balance between the gentle openers & the invigorating poses, flows & holds.  All levels, challenges & variations offered.

Jai Friday Yoga w/ meditation:

A balanced class of opening supportive/restorative postures with revitalizing sequencing all to prepare the body for meditation & the weekend!  A great class for the end of the week! ALL LEVELS.

Seasonal Yoga Flow- Spring session:

This mindful flow class brings union of our outer environments and our inner enviornments. Guided by the wisdoms of Ayurveda, the practice will invoke balance of kapha dosha while giving light to all 3 doshas.  Class will integrate asana, pranayama, mantra & meditation.  Cleansing, purifying, uplifting, warming, stimulating, grounding, nurturing and growing will be themes to carry our own body intelligence to a new level. All levels/challenges & variations offered.

Slow Vinyasa Flow:

A mindful, deep, vinyasa class, fusing power with plenty of opening. Connecting each breath with each movement, allowing freedom from thoughts, while building a firm foundation to carry with you both on and off the mat.  All levels

Soul Yoga:

A deeper practice merging changable matter (Prakriti) with that which is constant, spirit (Purusha) to help focus mind and free body.  A fun, exploratory love practice exploring asana (postures), breathing (pranayama), chanting, and meditation sequences to build comfort in stillness and compassion in heart. Classes can vary from slower more reflective to bright and alive where energy is flowing!   Class intends to inspire you to grow in your own practice in every moment. All levels/ challenges & variations offered

Yoga Basics:

6 week series. June 16-July 28.  This gentle yet powerful yoga experience will ground and center, uplift and clear your body and mind.  With basic and highly effective yoga poses, breathwork and guided relaxtion you will unwind tight muscles, destress a tired mind & build energy and strength inside.  Good for beginners or those wanting to re-acquaint themselves with the practice.  cost: $65, please pre-register prior to start of class.  If class does not filled it will be open to a $14 drop in fee.

Kirtan:

With Sally Noel & Sal Annunziato & Friends!  Kirtan is a yoga gathering where we chant the many names of the divine energy. Chants are typically in Sanskrit, invoking unusual power to quiet the mind and penetrate the heart with love.  Chants are led in call and response ranging from meditative to grooving, creating joy and peace!  Very fun, no experience necessary.  donations accepted thank you.

Sally was first exposed to Kirtan while living at Kripalu, greatly inspired by her teacher Indukanta, Sally quickly fell in love with the freedom chanting created.  Sal is a yoga teacher/rock musician whose great talent both vocally, musically (he plays guitar) and uplifting spirits led him to kirtan and the power it has for feeling euphoric!!

Studio is also available for renting for various workshops & classes.  Wood floors, 100 blankets, blocks and yoga straps available for use. Room can hold up to 40 people.
